I don’t know what’s happened to my friend and fellow writer Tony Vinh, but the Joy of Advertising has finally cracked his psyche and probably his buttery-smooth Pan-Asian skin. How else can you explain him showing up on ABC’s Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann vs. Predator? He’s going by the name Mariel – an obvious homage to such famous drag queens as Butch “Mariel” Shablonsky and Mariel Hemmingway.
Somebody up there in Detroit (Tony toils at Doner) get the guy some Bruce Campbell-autographed Old Spice and man him up.
